Counselling
What is Counselling?
All counselling is provided in a confidential setting. A client can use counselling to discuss issues arising from the past, present or those which may occur in the future.
Counselling can help you to understand yourself better by helping you to explore your thoughts and feelings with trained help.
Exploration and discussion of problems and anxieties may help you to feel less overwhelmed and more confident about how you approach these difficulties and encourage you to handle them in a different and more effective manner.
Counselling is not like chatting with a close friend as the counsellor is trained to identify the key difficulties you encounter. Because counselling is confidential you may feel able to tell your counsellor things that you would be unable to discuss with those close to you.
